"High School Musical" Again?

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to my parents for subjecting them to hour upon hour of the same movies over the years.

"We'll see"

A Zen master observes the people of his village celebrating a young boy's new horse as a wonderful gift. "We'll see," the Zen master says. When the boy falls off the horse and breaks a leg, everyone says the horse is a curse. "We'll see," says the master. Then war breaks out, the boy cannot be conscripted because of his injury, and everyone now says the horse was a fortunate gift. "We'll see," the master says again.

Sometimes a good 10 minute conversation at the end of the day makes all the frustration of the day worth it.

3 nights missed

It's been a long week. Too much time spent taking care of the house and working. Not enough time spent enjoying and reflecting. I don't like that. That said, I did get to enjoy Jimmie and her first Mardi Gras parade. "Hey mister, throw me a Moon Pie(R)."

It's been a good day

Sometimes it does seem like I'm not getting anywhere; but on days like today it is really good to know that I am wanted.

Concern

There seem to be a large number of people around me who are having relationship problems. Is this an odd thing, or am I just missing something in my own life?

Snow Day

It really was worth 5 hours on the road to enjoy 2 hours of Jimmie's first snow day.

My Friday Nights

I missed another Friday night. Really, my weekends aren't that busy. I should be able to do this.

Everything Old Is New Again

The New Guy

One more on the team now means that I might now possibly be considered to become (at least) the interim team lead. It seems like I have been here before.

Crap!

I knew that I would miss a day.

I finally get the motivation to get some things done around here, and I no longer have the energy to act on that motivation.

Sorry I missed last night's post, but I actually got a night out with my wife. I'll be sure to make up for it with two posts today (1 down already).

Starting A-New

After all was done for the day, I was able to sit with Jimmie and go through her baby book.
